Hungary makes Dalai Lama honorary citizen

Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama was made an honorary citizen of Budapest during his seventh visit to the Hungarian capital, where he is on 
a three-day tour.
He stressed the importance of peace and dialogue as he accepted the honour from Budapest’s mayor Gabor Demszky.
He is due to address a stadium of people Sunday and Monday, he will meet with Hungarian deputies and Laszlo Tokes, a European Parliament vice president.
The Dalai Lama’s last visit to Budapest was in 2000.
