  • ICWC launches Project Eagle to release 12 Indians in Dubai Jail

    The Indian Community Welfare Committee (ICWC) under the patronage of the Consulate General of India in Dubai has launched Project Eagle aimed at release of 12 Indian nationals languishing in jails because of their inability to raise the legal compensation.

    According to a statement of ICWC, Project Eagle has been launched as a part of its 10th anniversary celebrations and it has now secured the release of 9 Indians from jails while efforts are ongoing to resolve the 3 other identified cases. The statement adds that these Indian nationals belong to different parts of country including Punjab, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamilnadu.
