When thousands of enthusiasts are gearing up for the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2012, the city’s apex and one of the oldest industries’ body – Indian Merchants’ Chamber- is also going to continue its tradition of standing by the city on every occasion, even though here it would not be the case of standing up but running for the cause.

IMC and its Ladies’ Wing are participating in the 6 km dreamrun Mumbai Marathon scheduled on January 15. IMC’s theme of this run is ‘IMC for Business Fitness’.

Amongst about 50 runners from IMC would include, Ms. Bhavna Doshi (President – IMC), Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani (Vice President – IMC), Mr Arvind Pradhan (Director-General – IMC) along with the members and renowned businessmen like Sunil Mantri, Ms Deena Mehta (equity market analyst) and many others.

IMC members would start their run from Azad Maidan at 9.30am.
