  • India 281/3 at stumps on Day 3

    India were 281 for three in their first innings in reply to West Indies 590 all out at stumps on the third day of the third and final cricket Test in Mumbai on Thursday.

    Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman were unbeaten on 67 and 32 respectively at the close of play with India still trailing by 309 runs with seven wickets in hand.

    West Indies 1st Innings: 590 all out in 184.1 overs (Darren Bravo 166, Kirk Edwards 86, Kieran Powell 81; R Ashwin 5/156, Varun Aaron 3/106).

    India 1st innings: 281 for three in 80 overs (Rahul Dravid 82, Sachin Tendulkar 67 not out, VVS Laxman 32 not out; Ravi Rampaul 1/42, Marlon Samules 1/48).
