In Pakistan, insurgents today torched two tankers carrying fuel for U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan. Authorities said two people were injured in the attacks in the south-western Baluchistan province and the Mastung district. NATO tankers are regularly hit with arson attacks blamed on insurgents attempting to disrupt key supply lines to troops fighting in neighboring Afghanistan. The U.S. has begun using alternative routes through central Asia because of the the security concerns in Pakistan.
