In Kerala, Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau submitted an FIR in Kozhikode vigilance court against the leader of opposition in the State Assembly, V S Achuthanandan.
Achuthanandan has been allegedly involved in the revenue land allotment case.
Former Kerala Revenue Minister K. P. Rajendran is also among the 8 accused in the case.
It is alleged that 2.33 acres of revenue land in Kasargod district had been allotted to a relative of Achuthanandan when he was Chief Minister. The FIR was registered by the Vigilance in Kasargod in the morning.
