Kuwait’s Cabinet has resigned. The Emir of Kuwait has accepted their resignations.

The move comes in the wake of protests by the opposition demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad al-Ahmad al-Sabah on charges of corruption.

Opposition groups,liberals, Islamists, student associations and ribal chiefs have organized a mass rally in the Erada Square pressing for their demands.

The opposition has accused Sheikh Nasser of transferring public funds into his overseas bank accounts. The Kuwaiti Government has denied these charges.
