In Odisha, three police men have been killed and three other injured in a landmine blast triggered by the Naxals on thursday in Kandhamal district. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospital for treatment.

Police source said, the incident took place when the vehicle carrying a scientific team, who were on their way to a site where the rebels had triggered an explosion yesterday under Kotgarh police station area.

Kandhamal S.P. Jayanarayan Pankaj and other officers have rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
