    Published on March 16, 2020

Lebanon has urged people to stay at home for two weeks to stem the novel coronavirus outbreak. The COVID-19 has infected 99 people and killed three people in the country so far.

Lebanon’s Information Minister said the Beirut international airport will remain closed from 18th March to 29th March and no one will be allowed to enter the country through maritime or land ports during that period.

However, diplomats, UN peacekeepers, employees of international organisations and goods shipments will be allowed.
