Hyderabad : Leo&Mike, the Hyderabad based after school learning company today announced that kids in the age group of 4 to 14 years can now benefit from the launch of their new age learning programs being introduced for the first time in India. Leo&Mike intends to create interdisciplinary, project and problem-based learning programmes that will open new avenues for the school children. Leo&Mike believes in experiential learning and iterative design thinking. A naturally curious child, a deep understanding of human nature and the world, and a trained guide is all that is needed to create and deliver these unique learning programs that cuts across science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

Commenting on this occasion, Abhilash Joseph, Co-Founder & CEO, said, “We will work deeply with schools, parents and other important stakeholders to create new hands-on learning programs that will be path-breaking not just in India but in the entire world. Our programs cut across science, technology, design, art, mathematics, engineering and humanities. We want to reimagine what learning can be.”

“The goal of our programmes is to get children to experience a wide array of frameworks, tools and subjects in an interdisciplinary way. We want the children to be self-directed learners and be future ready. We have brought together a team of learning and design experts who are focussed on creating a curriculum and assessment system that will truly benefit children at a fundamental level”, added Apurva Ayyagari, Co-Founder, COO & Director of Learning Programs

Leo&Mike’s programmes take the child-first and uses a hands-on learning philosophy to create next level programmes. My 12-year old daughter is a very creative individual who had little interest in technology earlier. But she built her own robots and designed & built products with a 3D printer in Leo&Mike’s programs while using a lot of creativity. She loved it and wants to go back for more. I want my children to not only learn something in a practical way but also implement that learning to create a real difference in their lives and also in the lives of others. As a parent, this is the biggest take away for me”, added Shilpa Roy Kota, Parent, Educator & Community Worker

“Kids these days need to stay constantly updated with the newest developments in technology if they are to be successful in their lives – we can’t imagine  a world without  technology! Leo and Mike’s multi-disciplinary and extremely creative ways of teaching kids is truly refreshing”, added Namrata Sadhvani – Parent & Editor – Momspresso
