Abdul Nasser Madani, wanted by the Karnataka Police in connection with the Bangalore bomb blast case, is likely to be arrested today anytime. According to Sources Kerala police is unlikely to wait anymore for the arrest though Mr. Madani has approached the Supreme Court praying anticipatory bail.  

 According to information, the State Police have taken all possible precautions to ward off any possible untoward incidents in connection with the arrest. Strict surveillance has been enforced in the Anwarasseri, were Mr. Madani has been camping, and the adjoining area. Prohibitory order has been imposed by the district administration and all routes to Anwarasseri have been strictly monitored.

 In fact, a team of Bangalore Police has been camping in Kollam, the district headquarters, for the past one week to take Mr. Madani into custody.  

 Though the speculation was rife that the arrest of the PDP chief could be delayed further owing to the Onam, the total festival of Keralites, the presence of the state police force in large number and their preparedness confirms the otherway.
