  • Maharishi Ayurveda Products Pvt Ltd announces the launch of its franchise model

    New Delhi : Maharishi Ayurveda Products Pvt Ltd (MAPPL) today announced the launch of its franchise model, a first for any company in the healthcare sector. MAPPL combines the ancient Indian Ayurveda texts with the relevant contributions of modern Sciences. The market growth rate of herbal products exceeds that of allopathic medicines. The combined World Herbal Market in the year 2007 was over $200 billion and it is estimated to cross $5 trillion by 2050 as per a study released by WHO. As per WHO, about 80% Indians use Ayurveda. In the West, more than 60% people resort to Alternative Medicine.

    MAPPL began retail in 1987 with its propriety product ‘Amrit Kalash’. Today, it comprises a product range of over 1500 products covering Herbal Medicines, Rasayanas, Food Supplements, Beverages, Personal Care Items, Cosmetics etc. MAPPL has an in-house R&D facility, set-up in 1988, recognized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
