Monday: Neuberg Supratech has launched a round-the-clock RT PCR test counter for flyers at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The test conducted is fully in adherence to the standards mandated by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the state government, which aims to provide a quick and accurate diagnosis to travelers. The airport management has undertaken this step to enable travelers to take necessary measures to prevent transmission.

 The test is available for all international arrivals as well as to domestic travelers arriving and departing from the airport. The hard copy of the test result will be given within 6 to 8 hours to all the passengers undergoing COVID-19 test.

 Dr. Sandip Shah, Executive Director, Neuberg Diagnostics said, “In tandem with Ahmedabad Airport, we have set up a RT PCR test counter for increasing the testing capacity. Often, due to paucity of time, travelers fail to undertake the test before on-boarding. As a result of this, they have to follow the process of quarantine, and at times they are barred from traveling. We have set up our testing counter to address this issue. The travelers will be availed with the test report within 6-8 hours. In case the report is positive, then as per guidelines, the subsequent measures will be undertaken. This initiative will ensure the convenience of travelers as well as will help manage the rush of back-to-back flight arrivals smoothly.”
