A devastating fire has engulfed a paint godown in Bangalore, destroying the structure completely. The Director of Fire Services Mr.B G Chengappa informed that 30 fire engines and 150 fire fighters had to strive for over six hours to control the fire. He said 80 percent of the fire is under control now. No deaths or injuries are reported in the fire.

The fire could not be extinguished earlier, as the chemical drums in the factory`s godown exploded due to the blaze. The narrow lane and overcrowded onlookers had made the job of fire force personnel much more difficult. Due to the traffic jam, police had tough time controlling the crowd and making way for the fire engines to reach the accident spot.
