Pakistan has arrested Umar Patek, suspected to be involved in deadly 2002 Bali bombings in which 202 people were killed. Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said that Islamabad will allow Indonesia consular access to the top captured al-Qaeda operative. Addressing a weekly briefing, the spokesperson said that Pakistani authorities believe that the arrested man is Jemaah Islamiyah leader Umar Patek and a final determination will be made on the basis of consular access.
