PEMBROKE :Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, has seen great success with telehealth therapy and will continue the practice even as they open all of their clinics and welcome patients back for physical therapy services.

The COVID-19 pandemic had allowed physical therapy practices to treat patients through telehealth and approved it for insurance. This move allowed patients to continue their rehabilitation program from the safety of their homes. telehealth has enabled the staff to perform initial evaluations of new patients as well as continue the rehabilitation programs for existing patients. Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance will continue to offer telehealth therapy for high risk patients and those who are uncomfortable coming into the clinics.
