    Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns to New Delhi after successful four-nation tour; during his stay in Paris, PM Modi and French President Macron discuss ways to counter terrorism and radicalization; PM terms Paris Climate agreement a shared heritage of the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to New Delhi after completing a successful four-nation tour to Germany, Spain, Russia and France. India has signed several agreements during this visit of the Prime Minister.

    Trade and investment, counter terrorism and climate change were some of the key issues that the Prime Minister discussed with the leaders of the four countries. He also addressed the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia.

    Prime Minister’s final stop in his 4-nation European tour was Paris where he met France’s newly elected President Emmanuel Macron.

    Describing Paris agreement as a shared heritage of the world and protection of environment an article of faith for Indians, PM Modi said it is the world’s collective responsibility to save Mother Earth. The two leaders not only echoed each other’s sentiments on climate protection, they also vowed to fight terrorism. In a touching gesture, PM Modi and French President Macron jointly paid tributes to Indians who died for France.
