  • Preparations for PM’s visit to Japan on in full swing

    Preparations for the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s visit to Japan are on in full swing. Several senior Indian functionaries and officials have already held talks with their Japanese counterpart to clear the way for sumit meeting between the two heads of governments. Dr. Singh is arriving in Tokyo tomorrow on a four-day visit to Japan.

    Tokyo is gearing up to accord a warm welcome to the Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. The places of summit level talks and Indo-Japanese Joint Business Forum Meeting are being decorated with Indian tri-colours and Japanese National Flags. Besides Indian Community residing in this country the citizens of Japan are also very enthusiastic on the annual bi-lateral summit meeting. During his stay Dr. Singh will discuss with his Japanese counterpart Yoshihiko Noda on bi-lateral, regional and global issues of common interest with an aim to further enhance and strengthen the strategic and global partnership between the two countries.
