Hyderabad : The 28th Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress (APAO) in conjunction with the 71st Annual Conference of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS) is to be held in Hyderabad from 17th January 2013. AIOS is the largest Association of Eye Surgeons in India and the second largest in the world with over 15,000 Members. The four-day Congress from January 17 to 20, 2013 will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) and HITEX, Madhapur, Hyderabad is expected to be attended by about 10000 national and international delegates. The President of India His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee is to inaugurate the event informed Congress President, APAO-AIOS 2013 Dr. Rajvardhan Azad. His Excellency, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh Shri E.S.L. Narasimhan and the Chief Minister Shri N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will be the guests of honour, he added.

APAO-AIOS 2013 will throw light on the recent advances and latest developments in the field of Ophthalmology and provide an opportunity for the participants to interact, discuss, exchange ideas with international ophthalmic experts said Dr. N.S.
