  • Qatar Airways Strengthens Its Partnership With United States India Educational Foundation

    Chennai : Qatar Airways has partnered with the United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF) as the official airline partner Qatar Airwaysfor the Pre-departure Orientation for students who have applied to US universities for further education. The airline will be participating at the pre-departure orientation sessions for the second successive year.

    The orientation programme is expected to reach out to more than 2,500 students across seven cities in India. During the sessions, the students will get an opportunity to interact with USIEF experts and receive the most updated, relevant and authentic information about the education programmes, systems and processes of several American institutions.

    Qatar Airways offers a wide selection of flights from 12 cities in India via its hub in Doha to seven destinations in the United States namely New York JFK, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Dallas and Miami. In 2016, the airline will further expand its network to Los Angeles, Boston and Atlanta as a part of the next phase of its USA route development. Qatar Airways was the first Gulf carrier to join the oneworld alliance, which further expands its network in the United States through the presence of alliance partners.

Qatar Airways has seen a remarkable response from India on its rapidly expanding USA network. The United States continues to be a focused region for the airline and we will continue to explore further prospects for promoting the destination among different segments of Indian travellers.”
