Several minor and moderate earthquakes jolted southwest China’s Yunnan Province yesterday and today. According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, a 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit southwest China’s Yunnan Province this morning. The quake jolted Yingjiang County of Dai-Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Dehong at 7:33 a.m.(local time). Soon after, at 7:44 a.m., a 3.4-magnitude quake hit the same county, causing cracks in the walls of some houses. No casualties were reported.
Yesterday a 4.6-magnitude earthquake also hit Yingjiang County at 5:31 p.m.
