Syria and Iraq have agreed to speed up efforts to link their roads, railways and pipelines as part of efforts to improve relations. The agreement came during a two day visit to Iraq by the Syrian Prime Minister. Ties between them were strained after Iraq accused Syria of harbouring groups behind major bomb attacks in the country.
