New Delhi : For the first time ever, the French Tennis Federation has decided to open its ticket sales for the Roland-Garros tournament in other countries around the world.

Authorized agencies are able to commercialize different “packages” for the 2011 French Open, which will be held at Roland-Garros stadium from May 17th – June 5th.

For the general public, these sales will be through referenced agencies, whereas official agencies will commercialize the “packages” for company sales.

Thanks to this new system, spectators can purchase tickets in secure conditions.

Tickets for the general public for the 2011 French Open will go on sale on February 23rd. Tennis fans around the world will thus have the opportunity to order their seats on line via the website www.billetterie.fft.fr (or www.rolandgarros.com). This website is accessible in four languages: French, English, Spanish and German.
