TN govt. bans screening of movie ‘DAM 999’

The Tamil Nadu Government today banned the screening of the movie DAM 999 in the State. In a press note released in Chennai today, the State Chief Secretary, Mr. Debendranath Sarangi announced the decision.
The movie is said to be on Mullai Periyar Dam issue. The political parties have severely criticized the making of the movie.
The movie is to be released in Middle East, India and Srilanka.
The film falls in the category of an emotional thriller.
The ancient Indian concept of nine human emotions, are represented by an assortment of actors from India and Hollywood.
