Jammu: The US-based Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO), which primarily focuses on improving the lives of disabled through innovative devices and techniques, today launched its first standalone clinic in Jammu which will become a one-stop solution for patients suffering from amputations, limb loss, as well as lifestyle-related joint problems.

The opening of the clinic will strengthen the company’s presence in the Northern region, giving a fillip to its expansion plans in India, where the sector is still unorganized and in a very nascent stage, and do not have many specialized players.

The company strategizes to implement a similar patient-centric model in India, and the Jammu launch will foster its growth plans in the country, where it wants to have presence at 20 new locations in the next one year.

The clinic, situated in downtown Bakshi Nagar area of the city, will offer complete range of prosthetics, orthotics, pediatrics and pedorthics (footcare) solutions to patients.
