US drones today resumed strikes in Waziristan tribal region of Pakistan, killing three suspected militants. Security sources in the region said spy plane operated by the US fired two missiles targetting a house in the Birmal area of South Waziristan Agency. They said three people were killed in the attack and five other persons were injured.

Today’s strike came a day after Pakistan’s top political leadership rejected US accusations linking the Inter-Services Intelligence agency to terror attacks in Afghanistan by the Haqqani network.
