The United States today said that it is delaying until 15th December this year, the imposition of new 10 per cent tariffs on Chinese electronics, but going ahead with new duties starting 1st of September on 300 billion US Dollar in Chinese goods.

US trade representative Robert Lighthizer, said in a statement in Washington, that the delay impacts cell phones, laptops, computer monitors, video game consoles and some toys, footwear and clothing.
