Wildlife Trust of India operates through its outreach arm “Wild Aid” and conducts “Rapid Action Projects” to address conservation emergencies and help animals in distress. They have currently taken the crowdfunding route through ImpactGuru.com to raise funds to rescue animals in Assam.

The flooding in Assam has greatly affected wild animals in and around Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site.
