Jorhat : I never expected to get rank or to get second position in the state, but I was relaxed get a good first division, said Chinmpy Hazarika, the second rank holder from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Baghchung, Jorhat who was thrilled to stood second in the state.
He scored 593 out of 600 with 98.8 % following English 97, G. Maths – 100, G. Science-100, Social Science-100, Adv Maths-98 and Assamese-98.
Chinmoy is the son of Rupak Hazarika and Ruli Hazarika of Nauholia Gaon, Jorhat. He wanted to a doctor in future and will study Science Stream in Jorhat Pragya Academy.
