Guwahati : On Monday, three Police personnel of Assam Police border branch in Morigaon district have been suspended by Superintendent of police (SP) Morigaon Swapnaneel Deka. As per reports, the three border constables allegedly involved in bribing to label a illegal immigrant as Indian. The accused Assam Police constables are – Dipak Patar, Dina Bora and Motiur Rahman. As per direction of Foreigners’ tribunal, an investigation had been runned by Assam Police and the three constables were found to be guilty of demanding the bribe.
