  • Mu Sigma Announces The Second Edition of MuPhoria Contest

    Bangalore : – Mu Sigma , one of the world’s leading decision sciences and analytics firms, today announced the second edition of its online problem solving contest, MuPhoria. The contest is open to final and pre-final year engineering graduates in India, with an objective to make them confront real world business problems, and provide them with an opportunity to innovate and develop solutions through the interdisciplinary approach of Math, Business and Technology. The contest further aims to create awareness about the Decision Sciences industry and impress upon them its far-reaching significance and impact. .

    The contest will run for a period of six months, culminating in December 2013. Total prize money worth Rs. 15 Lakhs will be awarded to winners during the course of the competition. Every month, winners will be presented with prize money of Rs. 2 Lakhs and an opportunity to interview with Mu Sigma.  Winners will also receive a one-time sign-on bonus of Rs. 3 Lakhs, subject to selection and completion of three months with the organization.

    The winners will be identified by a panel of experts associated with Mu Sigma and evaluated based on factors such as creativity, thoroughness of the approach, quality of work and the final solution submitted.
