Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan rathore has thanked Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javdekar for considering the suggestion that there should be a mandatory 1 hr sports period in schools.

In a tweet, the minister also congratulated hosts Maharashtra for topping khelo India games medal tally  with an impressive haul of  85 Golds .

Mr. Rathore also expressed happiness at the grand scale of the Games which had seen participation of 10000 participants including 5925 athletes.
