  • Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2.0 drive targets 312 children and 11 pregnant women in Kokrajhar

    Kokrajhar: A meeting on Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 2.0 programme has been convened at Conference Hall, Office of the Director of Health Services, Kokrajhar today.

     

    Joint Director Health and Family Welfare department Dr J Ahmed stated that through the Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 2.0 programme left-outs, dropouts’ children and pregnant mothers will be immunised. “The programme focuses on all children up to three years of age and pregnant women who have been left uncovered under the immunisation programme. The program aims to escalate efforts to achieve the goal of attaining 90% national immunization coverage across India, he said adding that in Kokrajhar district there are a total 312 children and 11 pregnant mothers left uncovered.

     

    The Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 2.0 that is to be rolled out from 2 December 2020 will focus on 272 districts of 27 states. The program will be completed by March 2020.
