MANGALDAI : : ADG, NCC ,NER, Directorate, Major General Bhaskar Kalita interacted with the NCC cadets here at Mangaldai College auditorium on June 4 last. During his interaction Major General Kalita motivated the boys and girls cadets of 5 Assam Bn and 73 Assam Girls (I) Coy, NCC,Tezpur group of the college respectively to prepare well for NCC ‘C’ certificate throwing lights on their future opportunities. He also urged them to focus on different competitive exams along with developing the skill of speaking and writing both Hindi and English language as done by their counterparts in other states of the country.

He requested the teachers cum NCC officials to provide the necessary environment and also groom the cadets as an efficient candidate to join RDC ,Delhi. He assured all possible support and help in this regard. Commanding Officers of the two units Colonel O.P Pandey and Lt Col.J.B Chhetri were also present along with the two ANOs Maj Hariman Deka,Maj.(Dr) Leena Saikia during his maiden visit to the college. Manimugdha Barthakur, senior faculty of the English department of the college also joined the NCC officials on the occasion . This has been stated in a press release of the NCC department of the college received on June 6.
