Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has requested to Union Home Ministry to depute an Inter-Ministerial Team to visit the flood and drought-affected areas of the state to asses the situation.

Expressing his concern with the unprecedented situation in the Siang River basin where certain areas are reeling under flood while others are facing drought like situation, the Chief Minister wrote a letter to Union Home Minister yesterday to draw the attention of the union government towards it.
