The 12th Asia Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit concluded in the Belgian capital Brussels last evening. Around 51 Heads of state or government from the European countries and Asian partners, including India, attended the two-day summit.

In his address, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, who led the Indian delegation, urged the international community to work towards early adoption of the United Nations Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism.

Mr Naidu will participate in several more events today and hold important meetings before winding up his visit.
