Haflong : The State BJP President Ranjit Dass and State Spoke person also the Prabhari of Dima Hasao Ramkrishna Ghose claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party would form the government in 12^th N C Hills Autonomous Council with absolute majority.

Both the leaders Das and Ghose who have been supervising the election campaign throughout the district of Dima Hasao in an interview said the people of Dima Hasao have realized the fact that for development, peace is prerequisite and the people of Dima Hasao have witnessed a series of development be it road communication or the salary of the council employees and also peaceful environment of the district during short span of BJP ruled NCHAC under the leadership of Debolal Gorlosa.  ‘the People of Dima Hasao basically need peace and development in true sense and the BJP has been committed for the development irrespective caste, creed and religion therefore there has been no doubt that the people of the district would choose the BJP to form the government in the NCHAC’.

Answering the questions of the media Dass categorically said there have been no irregularities in distributing party tickets, the number party ticket seekers were very high in comparison to other political which proved the party popularity and the candidate from 2 Jatinga constituency was the best example that the BJP did no discrimination in giving party tickets. Perhaps the candidate External Siangsai from 2 Jatinga constituency was the poorest candidate among all. Though he is poor but he is the people’s choice. Likewise in other constituencies also we have fielded the candidates as per people’s choice.

Ghose, who has been visiting Dima Hasao since long said I have witnessed a vast change in terms of development and many more things are to be done, we have specific vision for the development of Dima Hasao and its people which will be disclosed very soon in the form of election manifesto. Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and also Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa  are very much keen for the development and peace in the district. Answering the questions of the media Ghose claimed as of now the BJP would secure more than 24 seats out of 28 seats in the 12th NCHAC election which is being held on January 19 next.
