    6.2-magnitude quake rocks east Japan

    New Delhi: A strong 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit eastern Japan this morning. The US Geological Survey said, the quake, at a depth of 44 kilometres, struck near the northeast coast of the main Honshu island, some 350 kilometres from Tokyo. There were no immediate reports of any damage or casualty. No tsunami warning was issued.
