The Central bureau of Investigation, CBI today conducted raids at the residence of five Commonwealth Games officials in Delhi in connection with the overlays case. CBI sources said that searches are being carried out at the houses of five officials. Overlays work included supply of tents, containers, security fences, furniture, air conditions, lighting, civil construction and athletic exercise equipment. An FIR has also been registered against the officials.

Earlier, the agency had conducted a number of searches in certain premises across the country early in connection with the alleged CWG scam.
