  • Speaking exclusively to AIR News, Director General, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) S N Pradhan said that the Centre is constantly reviewing the preparedness for handling the AMPHAN cyclone.

    He said, the National Crisis Management Committee met twice in a span of two days for chalking out a better response management in the areas where risk assessment is considered to be high.
    NDRF Chief has asked special caution to be observed by people in the areas likely to be affected by the AMPHAN cyclone and has requested people living in kuchha houses in such areas to reach out to safer places.
