Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Giriraj Singh said that Narendra Modi government is putting all its efforts to double the farmers’ income.

Addressing the Press Conference at Ahmedabad yesterday, he said that agriculture with animal husbandry is the key to doubling the farmers’ income.

Mr. Singh said that for the first-time Animal Husbandry, fisheries and dairying are separated from the agriculture department.

He said that his ministry is taking all necessary steps to help the farmers to adopt livestock farming along with traditional agriculture.
