The Prime Minister has urged the BJP leaders to cooperate in the passage of important financial bills in Parliament. Dr Manmohan Singh held a meeting with senior BJP leaders LK Advani, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley at his residence last night in a bid to end the parliamentary stand-off over the missing coal files issue. The Prime Minister invited the BJP leaders to discuss the issue after his statement in Parliament yesterday on the missing coal block allocation files failed to break the deadlock.

The BJP said, the party will hold a meeting of its senior MPs this morning to take a decision on the issue.
