Haflong  : The State President, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, and also MP (RS) Ripun Bora while flaying the BJP government for its utter failure to keep the promises to the people of country claimed that this time congress will win the Diphu parliamentary constituency and also majority seats in forth coming N C Hills Autonomous Council election.

Bora was addressing the press meet held at Rajiv Bhawan after attending the meeting of the extended executive committee DCC Dima Hasao on Tuesday said the BJP did nothing remarkable rather failed to fulfil the people aspirations thus the people of the country have lost confidence and also realized that BJP cannot win in the forthcoming election therefore people will support the congress wholeheartedly.

He also claimed that the present Chief Executive Member of NCHAC Debolal Gorlosa should not continue as the CEM of NCHAC since one of his accomplices who is also government approver in his court statement alleged the involvement of CEM NCHAC in killing of Purnendu Langthasa and Nindu Langthasa, the then CEM and EM of NCHAC and should step down immediately on moral ground. In this regard the state congress has already approached the Governor of Assam demanding immediate dissolution of NCHAC and holding of election to the NCHAC.

Bora also disclosed that a new programme in name of ‘ Hisab Diyak’ aru ‘Uttar Diyak’ would be launched  August 26^th next which would be inaugurated by Harish Rawat.

MP was accompanied by Biren Sing Engti, MP, Diphu, Debabrata Saikia, Leader, CLP and Nirmal Langthasa, President, Dima Hasao DCC along with many Congress leaders from Guwahati and also from Diphu.
