Haflong : The Dima Hasao Forest recued an injured female wild goat from Dolong River near Jatinga on Sunday.

Some villagers from nearby village first saw the injured animal lying on the bank of River and informed the forest officials of Jatinga who later rescued the animal and brought to the Veterinary dispensary at Sarkari Bagan.

The animal was injured on her right leg perhaps trying to escape from trap few days back and was unable run away, thus the villagers found her there.

First aid was provided by the two veterinarians and hoped it would survive.
