Haflong  :  Dima Hasao district of Assam has taken part in the world’s fastest and largest COVID -19 vaccination drive with great enthusiasm.

At Haflong district head quarter of Dima Hasao, people found to be very positive and enthusiastic  to avail the opportunity of vaccination which are given free a cost at Town OPD and Haflong Civil hospital as per government norms.

It is learnt from the duty nurses that more than two hundreds of people are being at both the centre as the people are coming voluntarily. Medical staffs and others are found to be very friendly to convince the people about the effectiveness of the vaccine. 

After being vaccinated, many people opined that the government would need to build public confidence in COVID-19 vaccine along with supply side logistic. Some other said it will be good to share in the public domain and also engage high profile politicians and celebrities to promote the campaign.
