Haflong : Har ghar dastak or Door to door Covid-19 vaccination campaign has began in Dima Hasao in formed Deputy Commissioner Nazreen Ahmed while interacting with press men at the DC conference hall on Monday.

Sharing the statistics of this district Deputy Commissioner informed that the aim of the government through this campaign is to ensure that no person is left unvaccinated for Covid-19 during this vaccination exercise. This special vaccination will be held across 242 polling stations in Dima Hasao out of which 21 numbers of polling stations already have 100% vaccination done. “While most of the villagers have come forward for vaccination, there are seven villages in the district where vaccination percentage is still nil. The names of such villages are Dijamdolia, P.Vazang, V Leikeh, Solpidong, Lungjang, Nivang, P. Peisa”, said the Deputy Commissioner Nazreen Ahmed. 

As informed team comprising of zonal officers, sector officers, presiding officers, BLOs, Aganwadi workers, ASHA, ANM, Gaon Bura and police will move from village to village to verify vaccination status under their polling stations to ensure that 100% vaccination is done.

During the meeting ADC Lalrohlu Khiengte, Jt. Director incharge of Medical along with the medical officials were present.
