Project of Rs 25.58 crores approved for Development of Loktak Inland Waterways Project in Manipur

Kokrajhar: Eleven Star football club of Bongaigaon lifted the 20th Bodoland Martyrs’ Gold Cup Football tournament held at Banargaon in Kokrajhar today.
In the final match today, the Bongaigaon FC defeated Baarhoongkha Athletic Club, Kokrajhar 1-0.
Thanil Singh scored the lone goal of the match in 87 minutes.
Assam Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma and Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) executive members- Doneswar Goyary, Rajib Kumar Brahma attended the final match as guests and handed over the trophy to the champion team and the runner-up team.
The winning team received Rs one lakh cheque along with the champion trophy. The runner team received Rs. 50 thousand and a trophy.
The Bodoland Martyrs’ Gold Cup Football tournament is an annual football tournament organized by Ex BLT Welfare Society and Kokrajhar District Sports Association (KDSA) in memory of the martyrs who made supreme sacrifices during the Bodoland movement.
