Russia : Police in the Russian region of Dagestan said that a female suicide bomber has killed four police officers and wounded two others.

They said the female detonated herself near a police station in the Dagestani village of Karabudakhkent yesterday.

The number of injured are still unclear and an investigation has been launched.

Violence is common in Russia’s North Caucasus republics of Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia, with militants frequently mounting attacks against police officers and authorities.
