  • Six ISAF soldiers killed in afghan IED attack

    Kabul : Six soldiers of International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) have been killed following an improvised explosive device attack in the southern Helmand province of Afghanistan yesterday. A press release issued by the Joint Command of the NATO forces in Kabul today has mentioned death of six soldiers but did not mention the nationality of the dead soldiers. The British ministry of Defence in London has said that its six missing soldiers are believed to have been killed during security petrol in Helmand yesterday. It also says that they were killed when their armoured vehicle was caught in an explosion. Britain has around 9,500 troops in Afghanistan.
