Financial assistance for drivers and conductors in Dima Hasao

Haflong: The one-time Covid Relief Scheme launched by the Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will now be available to benefit those in Dima Hasao also as informed by Arun Bora, District Transport Officer (DTO), Dima Hasao.
Inviting the owners of the Inter district buses for getting themselves registered in order to avail the offer, DTO Bora informed that a financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- per beneficiary as covid relief scheme for drivers, handymen and conductors of inter district passenger buses is given by the Assam government.
As per the scheme, not more than three persons per vehicle plying on inter district routes, can apply by registration, filling up of e-form and upload of documents in dedicated portal.
